What is WNDC?

West Northamptonshire Development Corporation (WNDC) was set up by the government in December 2004. Our mission is to promote and deliver sustainable housing growth and regeneration in Northampton, Daventry and Towcester.

Our Vision for the Area:

Northampton will be transformed from market town to a prosperous and dynamic regional city, with a growing knowledge economy. Daventry and Towcester will become distinctive market towns. West Northamptonshire will be better connected to regional, national and international markets, capitalising on its position at the centre of England.

Northampton top for offices

Northampton has been named the UK’s top location for office space in a report released by property consultants Lambert Smith Hampton.

WNDC champions economic growth

WNDC’s board has awarded £1 million to Northamptonshire Enterprise Ltd (NEL) to support economic development across Northamptonshire in 2008/09. This will be seen through a number of activities identified by NEL.
