Cllr Sandra Barnes

Sandra Barnes has lived in South Northamptonshire for over 30 years.

She has been leader of The South Northamptonshire Council since 1999 and is Ward Councillor for the Tove Ward.  She represents her council at the Regional Assembly and the Northamptonshire Partnership where she is a Board Member of both, and Chairs the Audit Committee for the Partnership.  She also Co-Chairs the Northamptonshire Councils Association.  Sandra has had a long-standing interest and commitment to the Health Service and is currently a non-executive director of the Daventry and South Northants Primary Care Trust where she chairs the Audit Committee and is involved in Primary Care Development and Clinical Governance.  She had been Chairman of her local Primary School for the past 4 years and is now the Vice Chairman, she has also served as a Parish Councillor.
