Daventry Infrastructure Study (DIS) Consultation Questions

We welcome comments on any of the matters investigated in the report. Please however, be mindful that the DIS is a strategic document. As such it is not within its remit to make recommendations in terms of either land allocation nor the appropriateness of specific planning applications. Specifically, however, we would be pleased to receive your comments in respect of the following matters:

1.  The stated purpose of the DIS

2.  The overall structure of the DIS reports and their clarity

3.  The approach to the examination of infrastructure in the DIS

4.  The scope of the DIS and the levels of detail within the respective studies

5.  The methodologies used in the preparation of the technical reports to the DIS

6.   The quality and source of the information that has been used to inform the findings of the DIS

7.   Whether there are any significant/material omissions from the data used in the technical reports or conflicting data sets that have not been identified elsewhere

8.  The value of the DIS in aiding decision making on infrastructure matters and any required improvements that would assist WNDC (or other partners) in relying on its conclusions

9.   Any additional factors regarding technical issues that could be taken into account or information which could be presented more clearly or accurately in the reports

The DIS will be represented to the Board of WNDC for final consideration at their meeting in September.   In order to ensure we are able to consider your comments and make any modifications to the report in time for that meeting, please respond in writing no later than 25th July 2008 to Chris Cheal, Project Manager for the Daventry Infrastructure Strategy Christopher_cheal@URSCorp.com
